About

Economic growth is an essential element of life. In theĀ absenceĀ of new development, technology, jobs, and income there would be no improvement in the human condition. Too often, however, we have sought growth at the expense of the environment. There has persisted for centuries a fundamental disconnect between our limitless ability to conceive and create and our accompanying failure to protect the elemental resources that serve these pursuits.

The health of our natural environment, the strength of our social bonds, and the fate of our economic wellbeing are all intrinsically linked. Growth and preservation are not incompatible.

They are knektid.
